A limited-edition of pocketbooks of ”The Waste Land" by T. S. Elliot was created, where each cover was computationally generated. Each cover intends to convey the main ideas that Elliot wanted to convey in his book:
1. The idea of confusion in a first reading of the text. Where nothing seems to make sense. Where words get ahead of our reading;
2. The feeling of being uncultured. Of living in this new modern age;
3. Elliot, the individual who felt alienated in a world of uneducated. One who did not follow the rule.
A note from the author’s final notes is randomly selected and exposed below the book’s title. The corresponding line is then highlighted from part of the book’s text and positioned on the cover according to its position on the book.
